Who We Are
Since its founding in 1927, the Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High PTSA’s dynamic base of parents, staff, students, and community members has been volunteering together to support our International Baccalaureate World School program as we strive to achieve the many wonderful things planned for our students, their families, and the surrounding community.
The Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High PTSA is represented by the Highlands Council of PTAs which currently represents twenty PTA organizations in the city of Los Angeles, as authorized by the Los Angeles Tenth District of the California State PTA; and is affiliated with the National PTA.
The Purpose of the PTA is:
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
We look forward to working together with you and hope to see you at one of our PTSA Meetings!
